Set the field
Enter your actual team count. Six teams need two byes; twelve need four. The builder fills the next power-of-two draw and shows the automatic advances.
- 02
Fill in your teams
Enter one name per line in seed order. For an unseeded event, shuffle the roster before entering it. Leave the field empty for numbered spaces to write on later.

Download and print
The PDF includes the full draw; open it and print on the paper size you need. SVG keeps lines sharp when enlarged. Record scores and advance winners by hand, or create a live bracket beneath the preview.
A printable does not update when scores change. For a shared live draw, use the tournament bracket maker. Small brackets are free; larger live fields and advanced formats require a paid plan.

Questions before you start?
Are the printable brackets free?
Yes. Fill in and download PDF or SVG brackets without an account. The builder supports 2–64 teams. Live tournament plans are separate from free printable downloads.
Can I type team names before downloading?
Yes. Add one team or player per line in seed order. Names appear in the draw and in the exported file. Blank entries use numbered team labels.
Does the template handle an odd team count?
Yes. The builder uses the next power-of-two bracket size and assigns byes to the highest seeds. For example, seven teams use eight slots with one bye for seed 1. Byes do not count as played matches.
Is this a double-elimination template?
This builder creates single-elimination draws. Double elimination has a separate losers bracket and different advancement paths; use the linked double-elimination tools for that format.
Can I use the same names in a live bracket?
For 2–8 teams, the live-bracket button carries your roster into free setup. Choose a sport, then generate the draw. Larger live fields require Pro or Studio; create the board and import your roster there.
