A tournament registration form, or team sign-up sheet, is how organizers collect a list of who's playing before a bracket or schedule gets built — traditionally a clipboard at check-in or a shared spreadsheet link passed around a group chat.
A paper sheet works fine for a small backyard event, but it falls apart the moment sign-ups come in from people who aren't standing next to the clipboard — texts, emails, and last-minute additions all have to get copied in by hand. An online sign-up link fixes that: everyone adds their own name from their phone, and the list builds itself without anyone re-typing entries.
Open registration on any free bracket or round robin board, then share the sign-up link in your group chat, on a flyer, or wherever players will see it. Teams tap the link and add their name — no account or password required on their end. Sign-ups land in a pending list for you to review, and approving one drops that team straight into an open bracket slot or round robin schedule.
Registration collects a team name and email, plus a card payment if you've set an entry fee. Set the fee on your board and teams pay by card at sign-up through Stripe; teams pay the entry fee plus a small service fee (card processing + 3% + $0.50) at checkout, and the full entry fee lands in your own Stripe account. You can also add up to 5 custom questions (text or multiple choice) and an optional waiver participants must accept before their spot is submitted, then export the full roster as a CSV whenever you need it.
