Shows the current server and service court for singles and doubles, so players and officials always know who's serving without recalculating mid-match.

Update the score from courtside. Spectators and players between games see the score update instantly on their own devices.
Badminton switched to rally scoring years ago, and it's a different rhythm from older side-out systems — every serve produces a point for somebody, win or lose the rally. This scoreboard tracks points to 21 per game, games won toward a best of 3 match, and handles the deuce and cap rules automatically so nobody has to remember them mid-rally.
Each game is played to 21 points. If the score reaches 20-20, the game continues until one side leads by 2 clear points (22-20, 24-22, etc.) — this is deuce. If it reaches 29-29, the cap kicks in and the next point wins the game at 30-29 regardless of the 2-point margin. The scoreboard applies win-by-2 automatically and stops correctly at the 30-point cap, so scorekeepers don't have to track the rule by memory during a close game.
In doubles, the serving side alternates between the left and right service courts depending on whether their score is even or odd, which also determines which opponent is receiving. Singles has its own simpler serve rotation. The scoreboard shows the current server so players and officials always know who's up without stopping to recalculate the court.
Our club plays doubles every Tuesday and the deuce rule always led to a debate. Having it enforced automatically ended that argument for good.

I coach the high school badminton team and this is perfect for dual meets. Parents in the stands can follow along on their phones instead of asking me constantly.

Runs our weekly ladder league. Best of 3 tracking means I don't have to remember which game we're on anymore.
