Tracking Multiple Event Doors at Once
Festivals, conferences, and ticketed venues rarely have just one entrance. If you're staffing a gate at a county fair with a main gate, a VIP gate, and a will-call table, a single tally counter only tells you one door's story — you'd need three separate apps or three people comparing notebooks at the end of the night. Set up a counter per door instead, label each one (Main Gate, VIP Gate, Will Call), and record each total on one browser and device. Separate phones do not combine counts automatically. You can add the totals yourself, or create a shared leaderboard to show the current names and counts on another device.
Inventory and SKU Counts on the Warehouse Floor
Doing a spot inventory check on a handful of SKUs doesn't require pulling up a full inventory system — it just needs a fast, accurate count per item. Label a counter for each SKU you're checking, set the increment step to match how the product is packaged (1 for individual units, 12 for a case of a dozen, 24 for a flat), and tap through the count as you go down the aisle. Because each counter keeps its own step size, you're not stuck manually multiplying case counts by hand or fumbling between different counting apps for different pack sizes.
Classroom Behavior and Participation Tracking
Teachers use multiple counters to track more than one thing during a single class period — hands raised, call-outs, or how many times a group has taken a turn — without losing their place. Label a counter per student, per table group, or per behavior category, and tap it in real time as class happens. When browser saving is available, a teacher can leave the page open across a whole period or return on the same browser the next day. Check the saving status before closing the tab; if saving fails, keep it open and retry.
