Most event registration software is built around ticketing — one person buys one ticket to attend something. Sports tournaments and leagues don't work that way: a single sign-up represents a whole team, that team needs to land in a specific bracket slot or division, and the person filling out the form usually isn't the only one playing. Team-based registration is built around that difference from the ground up rather than bolting a spreadsheet export onto a ticketing flow.
Open registration on any bracket, round robin, or league board and share the sign-up link — in a group chat, on a flyer, wherever players will see it. Teams add their own name, no account required on their end, and every request lands in a pending list for you to review. Approving a sign-up drops that team straight into an open slot on the same board, so there's no separate step where you take a registration list and go build the bracket somewhere else — the roster and the schedule are the same event.
If you're charging to play, set an entry fee on the event and teams pay by card at sign-up through Stripe. The full posted fee lands in your own Stripe account — not a shared pool, not a payout schedule controlled by us — and the participant covers a small service fee (card processing + 3% + $0.50) on top of your fee at checkout. Registration also collects each team's email, up to 5 custom questions, and an optional waiver participants must accept before their spot is submitted, and you can export the complete roster as a CSV whenever you need it.

Registration is one piece of running the whole event: pick a format with the tournament maker, build the bracket with the tournament bracket maker or the round robin generator, and once teams are approved the live scoreboard takes over for game day. It's one connected flow rather than a registration tool that hands off to a separate bracket tool.
