How the Scoreboard Maker Works

This is a scoreboard generator, not a fixed template. When you create a board you decide how the game is structured: how many periods it has, what those periods are called (quarters, sets, rounds, ends, frames), how long each one runs, and whether the clock counts up or down. Score labels are editable too, so the same scoreboard maker covers a cornhole bracket at a cookout, a ping pong ladder at the office, an esports bring-your-own-device night, or a classroom review game. Everything is edited inline from the admin page — no forms, no signup, and the finished board lives at its own shareable URL.

Once the board is built, share the read-only link with players and spectators — every score change syncs to their devices in real time. Need it on a screen? Open the link on a TV or projector at the venue, or grab the transparent score bug embed and drop it into OBS, Streamlabs, or vMix as a browser source for your stream. Generic Scoreboard or Sport-Specific?

If your game has standard rules, a sport-specific board is faster because the clock, periods, and scoring are pre-wired. We have a basketball scoreboard online with fouls, timeouts, and a shot clock, a baseball scoreboard online with balls, strikes, outs, and base runners, plus dedicated boards for soccer, football, volleyball, hockey, pickleball, tennis, and softball. For ranked competitions with more than two sides — trivia nights, race results, fitness challenges — use the leaderboard maker instead. For everything else, this custom scoreboard is the right tool.
